One Year of Walk Liverpool & Guiding for a Cause This Weekend!

Time flies when you’re exploring the best city in the world.

Exactly one year ago, we laced up our walking boots and launched Walk Liverpool City Tours with a simple mission: to share the incredible history, vibrant architecture, and legendary stories of our docks and streets with locals and visitors alike.

From the historic waterfront to our hidden architectural gems, it has been an absolute joy guiding thousands of you through Liverpool’s past and present over the last 12 months. Whether you joined us for a rain-soaked trek or a sunny stroll, thank you for making our first year so unforgettable.

To celebrate this milestone, we wanted to do something special to give back to the community that makes this city so great.

Walking for a Purpose

This weekend, we are turning our tours into a force for good. 100% of the tips collected across all of our tours this Saturday and Sunday will be donated directly to The Brain Charity.

Based right here in Liverpool city centre on Norton Street, The Brain Charity does truly vital work. They provide free practical help, emotional support, and social activities for anyone affected by a neurological condition—a cause that touches 1 in 6 people in the UK. From counseling and welfare advice to community choir sessions and confidence-building workshops, they are a absolute lifeline for thousands of individuals, families, and carers.

How it works: If you are booked onto a tour this weekend, you don’t need to do anything differently. Just come along, enjoy the history, and know that whatever you choose to tip your guide at the end will go straight to funding The Brain Charity's frontline services.

If you haven't booked a slot yet, there are still places left for this weekend! Let’s celebrate one year of walking, sharing stories, and supporting a brilliant local cause together.

Here’s to many more miles and stories left to share. See you on the pavement!
